Corporation Connections
Jennifer Porter, a Christchurch woman, was founder, chief executive and a majority shareholder of tech company Create Prime Limited. In 2021, Porter misappropriated $215,000 entrusted to her by an investor, redirecting the funds to her personal account under false pretenses of a bank account restructuring. Despite assurances, the money was spent on personal expenses like credit card payments and home improvements, rather than company needs. Porter's actions led to significant financial distress for investors and the company was ultimately removed from the Companies Register.

This event starts from 4.30pm with networking and nibbles with the presentation to commence at 5pm. For online attendees, the presentation will run approximately between 5pm and 5.45pm.
